Malaysian International Shoe Festival is back and this year, it will be bigger than ever . So for everything from sky-high stilettos to sleek sandals, if you are chasing the perfect pair of shoes, then this event is guaranteed to deliver paradise on earth!
Celebrating its seventh year, MISF is one Kuala Lumpur’s most eagerly anticipated annual shopping events and takes visitors on a fascinating journey into the world of designer footwear.
Running from 30 April to 1 May 2016 at the Putra World Trade Centre, this year’s event will feature almost 50 local and international shoe brands, and is expected to draw over 70,000 local and overseas visitors across the 3 days.
MISF2016 is promising to be even more spectacular than previous editions, with an emphasis is on high fashion, and offering up an unprecedented opportunity to experience some excellent shoe shopping, amazing bargains on designer shoes, and the chance to check out all the latest fashion from local and international shoe designers first hand. And when you get bored of playing Cinderella, sit back and take in one of the many fashion shows and shoe making demonstrations and shoe designing competitions.
Once again, this year’s program will feature Malaysian footwear legend, Prof Datuk Dr Jimmy Choo OBE and New York-based, Malaysian international fashion designer Datuk Zang Toi. The two icons will be recognized for their contribution to both MISF and to Malaysia’s fashion landscape generally. Datuk Zang Toi will also be staging a glamorous fashion show to present the Autumn/Winter 2016 collection of his internationally acclaimed footwear brand, Zang Toi.
Other tantalizing attractions include announcement of the winners in the Killer Heels Competition, fashion shows from local and international designers, all the latest shoe trends, amazing promotions and much more.
Admission to MISF is free and the event is open to the public from 3.00pm – 9.00pm on 29 April and from 10.00am – 9pm on 30 April – 1 May 2016.
